Independence Day commemorates the formal adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776 which became a legal holiday in 1941. Chances are, most of the 304 million people living in this country will celebrate with a parade, cookout and fireworks. May you enjoy your freedom today. Have fun and be safe. Don't forget to take a moment to thank a soldier.
