Randy went to college at Penn State - Behrend in Erie, PA. I went to Slippery Rock but via I-79 we visited each other often. Behrend is a beautiful campus. Near it is an area dubbed "The Gorge" where a stream flows through shale rock creating steep cliffs and numorous waterfalls. We took several walks out to The Gorge while he was still in school. It was no surprise that it was the place Randy wanted to propose to me. So even though events didn't transpire like he had hoped, (see "Will you marry me? - Part 1, 9/2708) we made it up to The Gorge to make our engagment offical 10 years ago today.
